And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.                      Revelation 13:17, 18

Years ago doing a Bible study on The Spiritual Significance of Numbers, The Companion Bible, Oxford University Press, Appendix X, I discovered:

[1]   The Anti-Christ  is

“emphatically marked”

by the number six;

And

[2]  The Jewish 44 Almanac declares that the "congruence of the six-fold numerical symbolism in Judaism should not be overlooked." This work cites numerous examples that those we call Jews today are “emphatically marked” by the number six.

the Beast

Revealed by Pastor Ralph Forbes

“Six in 666

“. . . Mosad HaYesod (a Jewish Holy Book) cites the Vilna Gaon's commentary on the Zohar that ‘the number 666 contains hidden within it exalted and lofty messianic potential.’ No other explanation is offered there.

666 is six repeated three times. Repeating a concept three times represents the affirmation and strength of that concept. The number 666 could thus represent the strength and perfection of the physical world, which Judaism teaches will occur in the messianic era, when the physical world will reach its ultimate purpose, to be a vehicle through which the created experience the Creator.”

The Significance of The Number Six

By Hillel ben David

The Holy Bible says that 666 is symbolic of the Anti-Christ New World Order Beast system that wants to rule the world with total control of everyone—our thoughts, symbolized by a mark on the forehead—and everything we do, symbolized by a mark on the hand.

But the Jewish Bible, the Talmud and the teachings derived from it, say that 666 is the symbol of the Jews’ long-awaited Messiah.

The Six-pointed Star—the Symbol of Talmudic Pharisaic Judaism, and the Israeli State—is the ancient symbol of Satan and the Anti-Christ!

THE SIX-POINTED STAR is the title of a book written by Dr. O.J. Graham, a Christian journalist of Jewish ancestry. He wrote this book because of his deep LOVE for his Jewish people.

Dr. Graham’s well documented work, now in its 4th edition, is a good primer to begin a study of the hexagram or six-pointed star.

The Six-pointed Star was condemned by the God of Israel in Amos 5:26, when He told the Israelites, who had forsaken Him, it was a grievous sin to follow "the star of your god, Moloch" or "Chiun."

When the Pharisee incited mobs were stoning Stephen, the first martyr to death; he reminded them of that sin. Acts 7:43. The Star of Remphan, is another ancient name for the six-pointed star of the "god" Saturn—or Satan.

The Six-pointed Star, the ancient symbol of Satan was adopted by Solomon when he went into idolatry. It became known as the "Seal of Solomon" in Arabic magic and witchcraft.

The Six-pointed Star inspired the name the chief Pharisees gave to the first Anti-Christ after Christ was crucified. This false Christ who led the last Roman revolt (132-135 CE) was a military leader named Bar Kozba. It was proclaimed by the leading rabbi of the day, Rabbi Akiva, that this Bar Kozba was “our long awaited Messiah.”

The rabbi was so convinced that he publicly called upon the Jews to accept Bar Kozba as the fulfillment of the promise of Numbers 24:17. He even gave Bar Kozba a new name; Bar Cochba (Son of the Star)! The rabbi’s prophecy to follow the first false messiah caused thousands of Jews to perish under the Roman sword.

The Six-pointed Star was the anti-Christ battle flag. There have been many false messiahs, such as an Ashkenazic Jew, named Menahem ben Duji, in the 12th century who claimed he was the Messiah.

Inflaming Jewry with messianic fervor—that the Anti-Christ must rebuild the Temple to rule the world from Jerusalem, like the deceived Judeo-Christians and Israeli zealots of today—he changed his name to David al-Roy.

He amassed huge hordes of troops in ancient Babylon, Khazaria and Kurdistan to "liberate" Palestine by bloody extermination of the people. He was assassinated by his father-in-law before he could establish his kingdom. From the 13th century on, the six-pointed star from Babylon was attributed to him.

{See The Thirteenth Tribe, Arthur Koestler, 4th chapter.}

The Six-pointed Star, The Star of Redemption (Der Stern der Erloesung), actually first emerged from the Sabbatian prattlings of messianic redemption which was mystically alluded to in the combinations of letters in amulets was not widely used in Jewish circles except for magic amulets until the 17th century when the Cabalist, Isaac Luria, introduced it in Germany as the most powerful icon of black magic.                                                             —- >
