Horowitz founded the United Israel World Union foundation.

He had the oldest office in the United Nations until his death at 99 in 2002.

Horowitz wrote a book, 33 Candles, describing his life-long infatuation with The Bible in the Hands of Its Creators and its strange author and false messiah, Moses Guibbory. The book’s title comes from a strange kabalistic rite performed by Guibbory, who lived as a hermit in the cave that supposedly held the burial places of the Sanhedrin Rabbis who conspired to kill Jesus.

Excerpts from Horowitz’s “33 Candles”

$ The god of this world! $

I took my right hand and drew a large dollar sign on the soil of the mound. “This is the god of the world!” I exclaimed. As I was so engaged, however, my left hand fumbled with the soil, as one usually does with the sand on the beach, and, as I finished the final stroke of the dollar sign, it automatically picked up an object which had a strange feel to it. I looked at it curiously. It had the semblance of an ancient seal. “Look what I found!” I said. He took it and studied it closely. The round, flat face thereof seemed to bear no imprint. It was all clogged up with hard clay. Here, no doubt, it had lain hidden for hundreds of years. The Stranger took a pin from his lapel and began to scratch and clean the object.

Presently, without a word he handed it back. I took one good look and rose in astonishment. My discovery was a metal seal, such as is used to make an impression in wax, and on the imprinting surface was the very symbol I had just drawn on the soil—a dollar sign. I was flabbergasted.

. . . So I have kept and cherished this seal. I found out later from an authoritative source at the Smithsonian Institute that the insignia represented a serpent coiled like an S with two human thigh bones crossing it. I further learned that this symbol, which

. . . The headline ran something like this: “The end of the Messiah of the Jerusalem Cave.” The article had originally been printed in a German paper by one Artur (sic) Koestler (Who was later “suicided” for writing The 13th Tribe). This writer gave a vivid description of his interview with the Cave-dweller and cited some of his prophecies. (p. 96)

. . . Moshe himself seemed unusually resolute and determined. He almost appeared challenging and combative. He gave the impression that he would let nothing disturb what he had set out to do. And then he announced the work schedule to begin this 29th day of June. It was nothing less grandiose than the writing of a new law for Israel—the final completion by Moses the second of the unfinished task begun at Mount Sinai more than 3,500 years ago by Moses the first. (p. 156)

. . . Many thoughts ran through my mind as the vessel plied its way through the still and peaceful Atlantic. I wondered how the Lord would guide my ways in connection with the publication of this   —->
